A Full Minute Of Acura NSX Action At Mid-Ohio Aug 5th 2013, 07:09
It’s been a while since Acura last launched a sports car – it was the original NSX in fact – so they want to savour the moment, hence the numerous teaser videos they’ve released over the past couple of days. The first working prototype of the new NSX was unveiled at Mid-Ohio circuit yesterday, and here’s a full 60-second clip for your viewing pleasure.
I know 60 seconds is not enough, but the first video they released was 8 seconds, the next 24! So this one’s actually not bat at all:
Despite being a hybrid and a four-wheel-drive car, the new Honda/Acura NSX seems pretty agile and light on its feet. Unless it is some sort of video trickery, the car appears to be scampering from corner to corner like a Ferrari. And the noise it makes, it is simply brilliant.
The new NSX is said to be as big a leap in sports car performance as the Nissan GT-R was when it was revealed. The difference is, the Acura is going to be more refined, better to look at, nicer to live with, a lot more exciting, and of course, more expensive.
Do not expect to see a production version of the new NSX until at least 2015.
